The long-awaited home run... Yoo Kang-nam fired a signal

It was like a welcome rain for the Lotte Giants. Yoo Kang-nam regained his instinct as a "big shot."

Yoo Kang-nam started the home game against the Doosan Bears in the 2025 KBO League regular season at Sajik Stadium in Busan on the 5th, and led Lotte to a 6-1 victory by scoring one hit (one home run) and one RBI, one run and one stolen base in three at-bats. Lotte lost 3-15, breaking its winning streak in away games in Daejeon on the 2nd and 3rd. However, Yoo Kang-nam played well in both the ball and the ball, preventing consecutive losses. 바카라

At the bottom of the fourth inning with the score tied 0-0, Yoo Kang-nam hit a solo homer off starting pitcher Choi Won-joon to score the first run. He hit the first homer in about 10 months since the game against the Gwangju KIA Tigers on June 4 last year. While Lotte was running away with three more runs in the fifth inning, he garnered a walk off Choi Won-joon, contributing to the score again. He also maintained his home ground until the defense in the top of the ninth inning without any substitution, leading starter Park Se-woong to score no runs in seven innings.

Yoo Kang-nam hit five consecutive double-digit home runs since the 2017 season when he was a member of the LG Twins. He signed a free agent contract with Lotte for a total of 8 billion won for four years ahead of the 2023 season due to his rich catcher experience and good slugging power. However, he failed to meet expectations after moving to Lotte. He underwent knee surgery in July last year and was out for the season.

He was sluggish in the early days of this season as he hardly recovered his sense of play. Both blocking and blocking of stolen bases were unnatural. There were also many games in which backup Information Officer was given the starting position.

However, he has been gradually recovering his performance by playing through this week's schedule. He had multi hits for the first time this season against Doosan on Wednesday last week, and hit his first home run on Tuesday. After Lotte's long-awaited move, the player finally achieved a rebound.

Lotte, which had only two wins, one draw and five losses in its first eight games of this season, secured a weekly win rate of 50 percent by winning three of the four games it played this week. Korean starting pitchers and veteran fielders worked hard to prevent its winning rate from falling further. On top of that, it is expected that the team will revive to Yu Kangnam and build a stronger capacity.
